Time flies when you're having fun. Or when you least want it - and it has! We have only 5 hours to go until our flight to Auckland takes off. We are all packed and ready and all that is left to do is step on that plane. IT'S REALLY HAPPENING! From now on, I will be blogging daily and whenever I can to keep you up to date on everything that's happening.
Also, thanks to all our sponsors and FDMC for granting me the time to go on this adventure to the USA! Wish me luck! Conor OMG! Just 24 hours until we leave NZ for 12 days as we battle it out in the US of A!! At the competition there will be 99 (that's right - 99!) other teams competing against us for the title. Have a look at the video below that explains what we are trying to do: Yay! We just got an intro video explaining what Nakibots does, who we are and what we try to achieve. It is posted on YouTube, and is viewable by everyone. It is also on our 'About' page or view it below. WE only have three days to go, so the pressure is on! We just finished a load of modifications, including autonomous programming, scoop modifications and more. We only have 4 days until we leave (14th), so we are all really nervous - but also excited. Our programming is going well, and we are scoring about 21 points per dump.
Today, we got interviewed by the Taranaki Daily news! A photographer came and took photos, and the journalist is coming later. We are leaving on the 14th - only a week to go. Fingers crossed!!
